Canton “CAJO” Jones is a Grammy-nominated recording artist, singer, rapper, songwriter, producer, vocal

arranger, pastor, and entrepreneur. He is also a devoted husband and father to his wife, Ramona, and their four

children: Love, Dominion, Canaan, and Justice.

He and Ramona served as Pastors of Free Life Church in Atlanta, GA—a cutting-edge ministry with a mission to

lead people into God’s presence and empower them to respond to His voice. Free Life focuses specifically on

reaching young men ages 13–30, with the goal of raising strong fathers, husbands, and leaders, which in turn

strengthens families and communities.

As the founder and President of Cajo Records, Canton releases music that inspires people from all walks of life.

Together, he and Ramona are passionate about equipping aspiring artists and entrepreneurs to operate in both faith

and business within the Kingdom of God.

Originally from Deerfield Beach, Florida, Canton is a proud 2000 graduate of Morehouse College. Over the course

of his career, he has released numerous impactful projects, including the 2025 album Jesus and Money. He has

performed and collaborated with legendary artists such as Patti LaBelle, Stevie Wonder, John P. Kee, Ray Charles,

Doug Williams, and Shirley Caesar.

Canton has been featured on national platforms such as the Dr. Oz Show, discussing how faith and music can

support emotional and spiritual well-being. He appeared with Shirley Caesar at the 2017 Trumpet Awards,

performing her viral hit “Shouting John.” He also joined the McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour in

2016 and 2018, sharing the stage with Marvin Sapp, Karen Clark Sheard, Donald Lawrence, and Charles Jenkins,

raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House and other causes.

In 2021, Canton was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Theology from the School of the Great Commission Bible

College in South Carolina, in recognition of his contributions to ministry and community outreach.

Canton and Ramona were cast members on Preachers of Atlanta, a reality show that addressed major social topics

including fatherlessness, police-community relations, and the intersection of Hip Hop and church culture.

meet one of our youth groups by the name of Acapella Wells.  The group consist of 4 sisters named Jada (21), Janiiya (16), Journii (14) and Jenesis (13)  originally from Chicago but now resides in Atlanta.  They will be taking the Stage (Alter) on June 20th at the 6th Annual Parking Lot Praise Christian Music Festival  at Woodruff Riverfront Park. 

They will be praising the Lord during our Young and Unashamed part of the event.
